Russian customers report eyebrow loss after using LUXVISAGE gel
Eyebrow loss is being reported by women in Russia after using a trendy fixing gel. The product identified by the media is the Belarusian LUXVISAGE eyebrow gel, known for heavy promotion.
The manufacturer asserts the gel provides a 24-hour perfect hold through its “concrete hold” formula. However, after 3–4 months of use, users began to notice thinning brows, with hairs breaking and falling out when removing makeup. Some complain that the gel is extremely hard to remove, even with oils.
The likely cause is the aggressive formula — the gel contains a mix of film-forming polymers. Over time, such a film can dry out the skin, disrupt blood circulation and block airflow to the hair follicles. This weakens the brows and leads to hair loss.
